Easter weekend came with a breath of positivity as S&P, Dow and Dax all rallied well to close yesterday on record highs as index futures ran rampant throughout the market. Nasdaq followed suit as it rallied well to close out the day above 13500.
Gold recovered well as it broke through 1720 to approach 1740 in this morning's Asian sessions trading, similarly with Silver recovering well after last week’s selloff as it’s approaching $25. Brent sold off aggressively yesterday as it hit a low of $61.23 before recovering and closing the day on $62.15.
Dollar weakness came into the market on Monday as investors sought to go risk on as US Equities rallied. The Asian session saw GBP strength come into the market as it strengthened across all major currencies. Post RBA Rate Statement the Australian Dollar gained strength against major currencies.
