The data that came out yesterday was a bit on the mixed side as US Prelim GDP q/q came out loweer than forecast yesterday but equal to the previous quarter’s growth, unemployment claims came out better than expected as claims decreased over the previous week.
Off the back of the data Dow pushed up well making a new weekly high as it rallied during during the US open and Close as it closed the day out on $34 615 , Nasdaq remained stuck in a range as it bounced between $13 624 and $13 732 with no clear movement to continue the bullish trend. European Indices also remained directionless as FTSE and Dax continues to consolidate.
Gold and Silver also seemingly directionless following yesterday’s GDP data, Gold closed the day out holding above 1888, while Silver tested 27.52 before recovering to close above 27.70. Brent, was ranging for the majority of the day before it broke out and opened above $69 in the open this morning.
