Account Manager
Location:Cape Town

Account Manager – FX and CFD Sales

TD Markets is Africa’s favourite online FX and CFD broker providing a best-in-class trading environment that is tailored towards a clients needs. After an enterprise-wide restructure and expansion of operations, TD Markets has repositioned as a company with new shareholding and management with a focus on increasing its footprint in South Africa and Africa with a vision to become the broker of choice for clients that seek the best possible trading environment and a place to call home for their trading careers.

The Account Manager manages all aspects of their designated portfolio of clients. This includes FX, Futures, Commodities, Equity CFD’S and Cash equities for an inclusive portfolio of HNW clients, individual clients and corporate clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • FSCA approved qualification
  • Experience in the FX and CFD brokerage industry (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly computer proficient. (Full MS Suite, Google Business Applications etc)
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of numerical skills;
  • Must meet the Fit and Proper requirements for financial services representatives as prescribed by the FSCA.
  • Highly driven to achieve set KPI’s and performance targets
  • Able to multitask in a busy environment by inter alia maintaining intercompany communications
  • Promote the best interests of clients by adhering to the core company values of Transparency and Diversity.
  • Committed to the growth of the company and its product development in the South African market
  • Prospect new leads and facilitate onboarding of new clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing retail clients and drive growth of organic business
  • Develop and execute a personal sales plan that speaks to the company's core values and aligns with the performance requirements of the respective sales team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the FSCA’s Conduct Rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Attendance to all training and regulatory meetings and training seminars that are scheduled by your manager.

Salary:

Highly competitive basic salary with above average commission structure based on experience and skill.

Account Manager – FX and CFD Sales

The Account Manager manages all aspects of their designated portfolio of clients. This includes FX, Futures, Commodities, Equity CFD’S and Cash equities for an inclusive portfolio of HNW clients, individual clients and corporate clients. Sitting within the Sales team, Account Managers at TD Markets are highly driven towards achieving their set out KPI’s and performance targets to drive growth and revenue from their portfolios.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Drive the company and product in the South African market
  • Prospect new leads, explain the features and benefits of the Company’s products and services.
  • Facilitate the on boarding of new clients from South Africa, Africa and other countries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing retail clients and drive growth of organic business for a total net increase in individual portfolio.
  • Maintain regular communication with the different departments and teams outside of the office that shows dedication towards going the extra mile outside of normal hours.
  • Develop and execute a personal sales plan that speaks to the companies core values and aligns with the performance requirements of the respective sales team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the FSCA’s Conduct Rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must meet the Fit and Proper requirements for financial services representatives as prescribed by the FSCA.

Sales Manager

Principal Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for driving the strategy and direction for the direct team of sales staff
  • Manage a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers
  • Create and build the team client portfolio
  • Manage the sales process within the team
  • Manage daily weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets
  • The formulation of sales reporting indicating performance, problem areas, areas of strategic opportunity and plans to realize growth targets
  • Attract new affiliates and associates.
  • Maintain a detailed pipeline with pipeline continuously being updated.
  • Acts in the best ethical way and in line with TD Markets values
  • Responsible for the commercial and financial results of the team
  • Analyses problems by commercial, financial and operations context to make decisions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to address specific needs within the portfolio of business being hunted and farmed
  • Work closely with senior management and global HR for recruitment needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years leading commercial or sales teams
